My name is Carlotta, and I am a qualified Reiki Practitioner.
I grew up in a small village in Italy and have been travelling the world since I was young. Since leaving Italy, I’ve lived in Istanbul, South Africa and London.
I first encountered Reiki whilst looking for some inspirational reads in my parents’ library. It was the spring of 2018, straight after a self-discovering solo adventure in Cambodia. I was drawn to a book named Reiki: Universal Life Energy by B.J. Baginski and S. Sharamon – I was not sure why I’d never noticed it before, but I started to read it.
I was immediately mesmerised. Reading words that I didn’t event know existed and discovering things that I always felt were there, suddenly everything became clear and familiar.
It was never planned, but I knew I had to continue with my discovery, and I took Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 courses in London. I feel so privileged to be practicing it and I can truly say it has transformed my life.
